And most of them got off because they knew how to exploit the loopholes in the tax system plus they have the best lawyers so were acquitted.

Seriously, they sure do have the best professional to do the job of evading those taxes for them and can very well defend themselves when caught up.

That's why especially in the US, they won't really face any serious legal troubles.

Yeah - and come to think of it, they always reach a compromise with the government when they are caught in the web. In the end, the government is always looking at getting the money one way or another.

Everyone is simply running in for the money, the government in the other hand doesn't want to know your company's progress they simply wants their own benefits too, making the devs to withdraw a little bit from recapturing the best video games.

Exactly, money is everything to these guys and it's something that they have been too into they can't do without it any more.

Laughs, when they check out what the truly want to use money for, they got no choice but simply demanding more. But they failed to acknowledge the fact, their games need to be too notch to justify what they are demanding.

Governments don't really care as long as most of the public spending ends up in their pockets. Why do you think governments keep coming up with all kinds of ridiculous taxes and tell you that it's the only way they can afford do anything.

I am seeing most of the countries government to be corrupt. They are simply for the financial benefits and nothing more. They can't see what's wrong and amend it right, they can simply go for the money and allow any company be it gaming, betting, food production company etc. Run the prices of their item anyhow they want provided they are getting the desired tax from each of them.

Seriously, that never cease to amaze me and they still complain that the state needs influx of funds to increase the taxes always.

You ever notice when the government never has enough funds, their option is never to cut back on their spending. Instead, they come up with even more outrageous taxes.

Seriously, that's their mode of operation. They would even go to the extent of borrowing money if they have the opportunity to do so.

That's how this world is run - this isn't something exclusive to the US. This is everywhere in the world.

I am pretty sure unless the lootboxes and other gambling with the microtransactions is removed things wont be easy for the govt to standardize this industry.

I'm very sure it's going to be impossible for that to happen unless the first initiative is taken by a gaming company.
