As an example, in Skyrim, I always rescue the Stormcloak soldier from the Thalmor, even though I am always an Imperial (my reason is that I figure the Thalmor are mutual enemies). Yeah - your case with working against the Thalmors supports the old proverb that says "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". killamch89 Posted September 10, 2021 Share Posted September 10, 2021 When I normally go for a strictly dragonborn playthrough, I'm normally neutral to both sides and only slaughter the Thalmor since they're the main issue outside of Alduin. I'd eliminate him immediately. It's never the right thing to do in my opinion because when you allow such to happen, it will be setting up what's going to take you down.
