Percentage of Abortions by Ethnic Group

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure of actual percentages among all groups.  However, I have read this article about abortions and African Americans, a group that votes mostly Democratic.

According to that report, black women make up 14 percent of the childbearing population. Yet, 36 percent of all abortions were obtained by black women. At a ratio of 474 abortions per 1,000 live births, black women have the highest ratio of any group in the country.

Walt Blackman

When you use those percentages, it indicates that of the over 44 million abortions since the 1973 Roe vs Wade Supreme Court ruling, 19 million black babies were aborted. African Americans are just under 13 percent of United States population.

White women are five times less likely to have an abortion than black women. Perhaps it is a matter of availability. A study by Protecting Black Lives, in 2012, found that 79 percent of Planned Parenthood’s surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of minority communities.

These stats are shocking and vile.

You had your chance to debate abortions and you refuse to respond to any points made. How is this any different? You going to make a 100 posts about abortion and when you don't know what to say you start a new one? And why do you feel the need to point out any ethnic groups that get abortions? Why target one ethnicity and say you don't know the percentage of all groups? Isn't it fair to include all groups if you want statistics? You are really targeting blacks tonight. The true you is unraveling.

There's not many points to make, because pro-choice people don't believe fetuses are human.  That makes the debate something that is dead in the water.  As for blacks, how can someone also not say that left-wing posts aren't targeting whites, if indirectly?   Are posts circulated in the media about Black Lives Matter picking on white people?

Bullshit!  I've @Jayson and quoted you multiple times about the issue of Ectopic Pregnancy's, which is an issue pretty much irrespective of wether the fetus is a person or not, and you've not responded at all.

There are plenty of different points to make, you just won't make them because:

  1. You don't have an answer or
  2. You know that answer you do have is going to contradict, or affirm a contradiction of you and/or your right views.

So you try again with another topic and throw your shit from a different angle in the vain hope that points you can't respond to don't come up again.  They inevitably do so you it again and again.  I've got to, your more and more vile by the minute.  In another topic you accused homosexuals of having some child molestation "agenda" and now blaming black people?  Did it occur to you maybe the reason why more black women and people from poorer communities get more abortions is because they fell they can't afford the healthcare and/or qualify for health insurance adequate enough to financially cover the process of pregnancy and raising a child?  You don't seem to be that stupid so use your brains.

I'm actually going to sustain the objections made here by @Crazycrab and @Reality vs Adventure. There is no reason for this thread to exist given other threads, mostly started by you, that are already here. Furthermore, and this feel like a repeat, either debate the issue or don't, the choice is yours, but do not just start another thread as your way of ignoring the other points people have made on the subject. We are not stupid and we are not going to fall for it. In other words @Jayson, behave yourself. Consider this your last warning. Either debate this with respect to other people and stop ignoring them, or stop debating completely.

We have all noticed that your only talking points are centering around abortion and telling anyone that is pro-choice how wrong and bad they are. The topic is fine to discuss, but discussion requires a civil exchange. Many people have made points and quite valid ones at that, but when they do so you have consistently run away and started a new thread. Either stick with your one thread, or don't post. Offer your ideas in one thread about said subject, or drop the subject. Also you need to stop taking bigoted and intolerant talking points as if they are fact. Your comments about "the gay agenda" are extremely bigoted. Especially to me, as I'm a lesbian. There is no such thing as a "gay agenda". We're not plotting anything. We have no agenda other than trying to live our lives in peace.

Take a step back. Examine your post.

It's easier to take your head out of your ass if you don't have your foot in your mouth.
