Do you play your games silently?

I never said Ghost of Tsushima never had audio or sound but that I had to try playing with the sound off. The feeling was totally different from when there was audio in the gaming.

Oh, you're the one that even turned off the sound for the game. Does it mean you did that out of mistake, or you knowingly turned off the sound of Ghost of Tsushima?

It was done on purpose. I didn't want to wake up my little cousin than was sleeping. He gave me a hard time putting him to sleep. I eventually had to stop playing because I wasn't enjoying the game without the sound.

Okay, I got you now, do you play the game only in the nights? Their is no need disturbing your little cousin while asleep.

No. I'd feel like i'd be playing half the game that way.

The audio and sounds are a big part to the games, if not they wouldn't have it in them.

I need sound for immersion purposes; plus sometimes that background music kicks in and draws me deep into the game. Every now and then when I'm customizing gear or doing something not gameplay related, I'll either turn it down or mute the sound and give my pet some quiet time. I don't need the base thumping when I'm not actually doing something in the game.

It's even the more reason why you get to see some gamers make of their game's background music and soundtrack as their ringtone.

Yeah, sometimes I do play in the night but mainly with headphones. But that very day, it was during the day that it all happened.

That's not a bad idea actually. I can think of some game music as ringtone.

I have used at least 3 game's soundtrack as my ringtone in the past. The last one was 24 hours main theme ringtone.

I have run games in quiet mode and I have noticed higher temperatures than usual. GPU runs into the 90s and CPU temps get dangerously close to 100, before thermal throttling kicks in which results in severe stuttering. I had the game Satisfactory crash on me and in rare cases got a blue screen. I wouldn't recommend it.

This is a little off-topic as the subject here is running a game silent, not a running a PC in quite mode, but that's OK because it does bring up an interesting thought that running demading games on a PC silently might be pretty much impossible as fan noise would became hard to ignore. The issue with running a PC in quiet mode is that it brings the fan speed down, so the temperatures rise, so thermal throttling and a reduction in performance is inevitable. So unless the game is easy to run, playing a game silently on PC might not be possible, at at least practical for most people.

I've always been a good fan of UEFA champions league tune, I could remember in the past when I was loving PES, I love listening to the UEFA champions league anthem.

I'm sorry, but what has this got to do with the subject at hand?

Explaining about the sound of the UEFA champions league, meaning, I can't do without such sound. Like playing it silently, that's all I meant.

It was your leaving out that part that made it confusing but it's good that you have explained it well now.

As for me, even in real life when watching football, I pay more attention to the commentaries because I pick out a lot of history that I missed and the same thing goes with playing any football games as well.

Lol, I knew it will warrant questioning, bit I think I've cleared the air, we're settled for once with what I meant by my speech. Football game is sweeter when their is sound ON.
