I'm having more problems with my Switch now.  When I try to press A to get into either of my two games it won't do it.  If I press the down arrow three times I enter the screen that would let me into the game if I press A one more time, but since A won't work this won't happen.

Now it's starting to sound like a problem with your Switch itself, more specifically the A button on your Joy Con. Do you have and alternative controller to use on your Switch, like the Switch Pro?

I got the Switch working again and can give first impressions of the game now.  WRC 9 is obviously going to be a lot like 8, but there are minor differences.  Citroen is no longer in the top division and the loading icon is a steering wheel now.  I still would want better leaf definition when it comes to graphics, but all in all I'm happy with graphics.  A new addition to the game is the WRC 3 class of rally car.  I'm still in Junior WRC so I'll have to tell you what WRC 3 class is like when I get there.

9 is also easier than 8, you're not doomed just because you're playing on Expert difficulty.  If you do play on Expert you probably want to be experienced with racing games, but that goes without saying.  I love the game so far.

This is exactly what I heard about WRC 9, I wanted to get back into the WRC games and made a few enquires most especially about the WRC 8,9 and 10 and the WRC 10 was highly recommended and seems to be a little different from what you get from the other previous WRC's.

What's the best WRC game you've played so far killa?  Maybe I'll want to buy a copy one day.

To me, it's between WRC 5 and 7 and I'd only say 7 because it looks better graphically and certain mechanics are much more refined. I played it on PC though so I'm not sure what the experience was like on other platforms.

I used to play Mobil 1 British Rally Championship on my PC.  My uncle found a copy near where he lives and shipped it to me.  It was a few years old when I got it around '06 or so.  I think it was one of the final rally games ever to have a Ford escort in it as brand new car so the game must have came out in '98 or '99.

WRC 5 was the first I played so it got to be my favorite since that's what created the image of what I Know WRC games to be like and why I was interested in playing other games from the series.

That would be WRC 8.  I played a British rally game before that and used rally cars that showed up in GT games before that.

I already mentioned I started with WRC 5 but I wasn't consistent and Skipped WRC 6 to play WRC 8 and then back to WRC 7 which was the last I played till date.

Hopefully I am considering getting back on it but that's  unlikely at the moment.

Since I've bought two WRC games in one year I figure my next move will be another British rally game.  I wonder if Mark Higgins still competes in British rally.

Are you referring to mobil 1 British rally game of 1999  or another British rally game.

I want to say that it was the '99 game, but why did it still have a Ford Escort?  The final European model year of the Escort was '98.  I think the game was a few years old when my uncle gave it to me in '06 or so.

At the time ford was one of the biggest car production companies and the Ford escort was a price of its time so I wasn't surprised it still appeared in the 99' British rally.
