Pretty disgusting... 😞

I wouldn't be surprised if EA did this as well. It would fit them to a T.

However, I find the fact that these practices are not enforced even more disgusting (AKA how the government lets these slimebags get away with it especially KNOWING that this affects the capitalist environment from an economy standpoint)

This isn't much of a surprise at all - Big companies always find ways to avoid paying taxes such as offshore accounts as in this instance.

Would you even be surprised if EA did the same thing or other companies taht we deem good such as CD Projekt RED? I mean, the latter has been found guilty of overworking employees too.

Amazon as we know is way bigger, and who is trying to get into the gaming environment pays zero taxes.

Nobody is surprised at their business practices - most companies have done very shady things but they have the funds and media influence to cover it up or spin the narrative.

Most of the cryptocurrencies, game dev companies, non profits are often used as tax evasion .. and this has been mafia point of swaps for years. So not surprised at this point.

Companies also use offshore divisions of their company to evade taxes because the tax laws in a particular country may be very "loose" or non-existent so they'll sue this method to avoid paying taxes.

Meanwhile, Republican politicians tell us we can't afford things like healthcare. Or education. Or high-speed rail. Or green energy initiatives. Or literally anything that isn't the military. All while championing these corporations and the broken system that allows them to avoid paying their fair share.

IF ONLY there were some way to afford those 'radical' social programs that nearly every other developed nation already has.

There isn't a worldwide tax policy - each country has their own system so companies simply exploit that lack of communication. What you're talking about is politicians not addressing the needs of their citizens which is a different discussion in itself.

Yes this is one reason they like to hire the remote workers where they can evade taxes and also save the money in the due process.

They also don't have to provide those workers with the same benefits as those that live within their own countries.
