How do you store/protect your physical games?

Recommended Posts

For those out there who own games on discs (and/or cartridges),  how do you store your games in order to protect them? I have most of mine stored in a DVD binder. I don’t like that I am sliding them in and out to get at them, but it just isn’t convenient to have them all stacked up in their individual game boxes.

Similar to Alyxx above, I have all my physical copies in stacks on a shelf. I really like having them in their original cases as I quite like the artwork and looking at the names on the side of the boxes.

I have all mine in plastic tubs that I bought at Walmart. The lids clip on tightly which keeps the humidity under control, and also keeps dust from building up on them. Also since the tubs are clear I can just look through the lid to see what games are in which tub. I do have them sorted out in a specific way for the most part, but I still sometimes have to pop all the tubs open for the system I'm wanting to play to find something that catches my eye at that particular moment. But it's no big thing. They're protected, and easy to look through.

Most of my games for Xbox One/360 or Wii/U, I keep on a shelf in the room. My DS/3DS games on the other hand, I keep in my room, a small selection of which – that is, about 8, plus one inside the 3DS itself – end up in my 3DS travel case.

I have a travel case for my GBA SP, but all I keep in it are games. The actual machines and charge cords are on my nightstand. Or if I'm going anywhere, I carry them in my purse. Nothing too spectacular, but it gets the job done.

I have one trunk from those 90s days. And most of my digital stuff which I wish to keep longer. I store things in it. I have also planning to keep some of such stuff in the attic. I am just trying to figure out what to let go and keep.

I also have a drawer in one of my closets where I store older consoles and games that I no longer use that often. I have my first super nes console in there even though it isn't functional just for the memories and nostalgia.
