New Free-LC for Total War: Warhammer 2 Adds New Lord Lokhir Fellheart

Creative Assembly announced Curse of the Vampire Coast two weeks ago; the next upcoming DLC for Total War: Warhammer 2. The studio had hinted that there would be additional content and updates coming to the game as well, and those have now been detailed. One of the most notable announcements is a new “Free-LC” expansion. Free to download, this small DLC adds the Dark Elf Legendary Lord Lokhir Fellheart.

New Total War: Warhammer 2 Free-LC Will Add Lokhir Fellheart

Lokhir Fellheart is a perfect character to add to the game alongside Curse of the Vampire Coast. Fellheart is a fearsome Dark Elf corsair lord who wears a golden mask which resembles a squid. Not only will Fellheart be added to the game as a new Legendary Lord; he will be fully playable in both the Mortal Empire and Eye of the Vortex campaigns. He leads a new Dark Elf faction called The Blessed Dread, and starts the game in possession of Chupayotl, an island south of the Star Tower in Lustria.

Fellheart Will Bolster Black Ark Corsairs Under his Command

Fellheart is an ideal Lord for Dark Elf players looking to excel at sea; “The Krakenlord does not need to perform Rites in order to raise Black Arks,” explains Creative Assembly; “He can recruit one for each major port settlement he captures, ultimately amassing a fleet of them with which to terrorise the Lustrian coastline and beyond. In addition, his armies enjoy a 50% upkeep cost reduction for any Black Ark Corsairs they recruit. In place of the usual Black Ark rite, he can perform a sacrifice to Anath Raema, granting Black Ark Corsairs the Cause Fear and Stalk traits, plus bonus AP missile damage, and conferring bonus armour for Kharibdysses.”

Creative Assembly will be releasing a major free content update called the Aye-Aye! Patch alongside Curse of the Vampire Coast. The Lokhir Fellheart Free-LC will launch on the 8th of November as well, but as a standalone download. Players will be able to download it for free from its Steam page.
