Free PlayStation Plus April 2019: Our Predictions

We’re just getting into March right now, so you’re probably really sinking your teeth into this month’s delicious free game entrees through PlayStation Plus. Right now, gamers on PS4 get to enjoy The Witness as well as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

But what will the free PlayStation Plus April 2019 games be? Let’s check out some possibilities. You’ll notice that all of our predictions from here on out are only for PS4 games. This is because Sony no longer is including free PS3 and Vita titles through PS Plus each month. Let’s jump in.

1. Spintires: MudRunner

One of April’s scheduled game releases for the middle of the month is World War Z. Coming out for PS4, Xbox One and PC, it prompts a couple of possibilities for free games for the month.

One idea might be to promote this title with another game by developer Saber Interactive. A possibility would be Spintires: MudRunner. This off-roading sim game came out in 2017 for all major platforms. It features tough missions across muddy terrain.

2. Dying Light

Since World War Z is a zombie game, it might make sense to offer another zombie game for free through PS Plus during April. 2015’s Dying Light open world survival game would be a great choice. This game was popular and well received for its gameplay mechanics as well as its open world design.

3. Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs

Another game due to come out soon for PS4, Switch and PC is Our World is Ended, which is a visual novel from developer Red Entertainment. Perhaps we will see another visual novel featured this month. One idea is Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs. This intriguing game isn’t a full-on visual novel; it actually works in elements of dungeon crawling and RPG mechanics.

4. √Letter

Another cool visual novel which might make the list of April PS Plus free games is √Letter, sometimes spelled out as “Root Letter.” This game came out in 2016 for PS4, Vita, Windows, iOS and Android. During the course of the game, you work to figure out what happened to a girl called Aya who went missing.

Those are all of our predictions for free April 2019 PlayStation Plus games! Make sure you don’t miss out on the March PS Plus free games, and keep checking our PlayStation news section for updates on PS Plus and all things PlayStation.
