With April here, we are enjoying playing this month’s free games through PS Plus, which include Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Dirt Rally 2.0. But what will the free PlayStation Plus May 2020 games be? As we wait for the official announcement, let’s look at a few possibilities.
1. Deliver Us the Moon
One of the games that we are anticipating for May is Those Who Remain, which will release on May 15th on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Wired Productions has put out a number of interesting titles over the years, so maybe we will be able to play another of their games for free next month. One possibility is Deliver Us The Moon, a sci-fi thriller which came out last year.
2. AVICII Invector
Another possibility from Wired Productions’ catalog would be AVICII Invector, a rhythm game with a spacey theme. The official description reads, “Created in collaboration with the late superstar DJ, AVICII Invector is a pulse-pounding, frenetic rhythm-action experience. Soar through vocal melodies, sweep each fade and attack every beat in 25 of AVICII’s biggest hits, including global chart toppers: Without You, Wake Me Up and Lay Me Down.”
3. Killing Floor 2
An upcoming release slated for May 22nd on PS4, Xbox One and PC is Maneater, a third person action RPG from Tripwire Interactive wherein you get to play a shark that is on an epic revenge quest. Perhaps we will be able to play another game from Tripwire Interactive for free next month to celebrate. Our pick is Killing Floor 2, a first person shooter game which came out on PC in 2016 and PS4 and Xbox One in 2017. The game has been free on PS Plus before, but that was clear back in June 2017, so it may be the right time to feature it again.
4. Minecraft: Story Mode
On May 26th, Minecraft: Dungeons is releasing on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Maybe we will get to play another Minecraft spin-off game for free next month. Our vote is Minecraft: Story Mode from Telltale Games. PS Plus has featured Telltale Games titles for free in the past, so there is precedent.
