With Laser League, Friday the 13th: The Game, and other thrilling games to play for free through PS Plus in October, time is rushing by. It’s hard to believe, but we’re swiftly drawing closer to November. Soon, Sony should be letting us know what games will be free next month. While we wait, here are some titles we are predicting might make the PS Plus free games list for November.
1. Ride 2
Our first prediction for November is the motorcycle game Ride 2, which came out in 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Ride 3 is coming out on November 30th, so this would be the best time to build up some anticipation with the previous installment.
2. Tekken 7
There isn’t a new Tekken game coming out, but Tekken 3 is one of the games included for PlayStation Classic. To draw attention to PS Classic, it would make sense for one of November’s free games to be a Tekken game. Tekken 7 would be a great choice for PS4. We could also see Tekken 6 included for free for the month for PS3.
3. The Witcher 3
We openly admit that this one is a bit of a stretch, and it probably won’t happen. But there are two Witcher-related games coming out in December. The first is Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, which will release on December 4th for Xbox One and PS4. The Second is Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, which will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on December 4th.
What better time to let subscribers play The Witcher 3 for free? Even though it feels like just yesterday that it came out, it’s actually been a while now. Let’s hope we actually get this lucky.
4. Borderlands
Borderlands 2 VR is coming out on December 14th. So November would be the perfect month to offer the original Borderlands for free through PS Plus. This was done once before back in 2012. Borderlands 2 was featured for free in 2014 as well, and so was Tales from the Borderlands just last year. So we already know Sony might be open to the idea. This makes it seem like it might just be a good guess.
5. Late Shift
Coming out in November is also The Shapeshifting Detective, a FMV game from Wales Interactive. Perhaps to help draw attention to this release, Sony will make another game from Wales Interactive free in November. A good choice might be last year’s game titled Late Shift. Another option might be Knee Deep, also released in 2017.
6. Cosmic Star Heroine
There is not a whole lot coming out on Vita in the near future, so what Sony will choose to offer for free through PS Plus is anyone’s guess. We’re going to go with Cosmic Star Heroine, a well-received RPG which came out last year on PS4 and earlier this year on Vita.
The game has a cool retro vibe, which may also make it a good nostalgia-inducing title to drive more buyers toward PS Classic. But again, we openly admit this prediction is pretty random. It is hard to say anything concrete at this point.
The free games list for PS Plus traditionally is announced on the final Wednesday of the month. As that is the 31st this month, we think the free PlayStation Plus November 2018 titles will either come on that day or it will come a week early on the 24th.
