Free PS Plus Games for May 2020 Announced

Yesterday, we reported on a rumor that the free PS Plus games for May 2020 would include Dying Light and Dark Souls: Remastered. We did urge readers to take that rumor with a grain of salt. And indeed, Sony has now announced the official free games for next month. Neither of those games will be free to PS Plus subscribers. Instead, gamers will be able to play Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19.

PlayStation Plus May 2020 Free PlayStation 4 Games

Sony made its announcement in the PlayStation blog. You can download Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19 starting on May 5th. Both games will be available until June 1st.

Cities: Skylines

The PlayStation blog describes Cities: Skylines with, “Do you have what it takes to develop a small, bustling community into a sprawling megacity? In Cities: Skylines, the acclaimed city builder sim by Paradox Interactive, you make the decisions that will see your city flourish or fail. You’ll need strategic smarts to keep your burgeoning ecosystem from collapse, ensuring your ever-growing populace stay happy and the industries that are the lifeblood of your expanding metropolis continue to thrive.”

Farming Simulator 19

The description for Farming Simulator 19 reads, “Stressed by the bustling city life and eager to tackle a more sedate livelihood? Rural escapism awaits with Farming Simulator 19! Developer GIANTS Software has packed in a wealth of agricultural pastimes to lose yourself in as you set out to maintain a homestead. Harvest crops, raise livestock, tackle forest, ride your own horses…or just jump behind the wheel of your John Deere tractor or one of over 300 authentic farming vehicles and go for a drive.

So, we have a lot to look forward to coming up soon! Be sure and play the April 2020 PS Plus free games while you still have a chance. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and DIRT Rally 2.0 are still available until May 4th. Looking for more updates on all things PlayStation? Check out our PlayStation news.
