September is here, and that means it is time for PlayStation Plus September 2019 free PlayStation 4 games. What do we get to play for free this month? Let’s take a look at the official free PS Plus Games for September 2019
PlayStation Plus September 2019 Free PlayStation 4 Games
There are two free games for September 2019 for subscribers to PS Plus, Just to remind you, only PlayStation 4 games are made free through the service nowadays. Sony no longer is offering PS3 or Vita games for free.
Batman: Arkham Knight
The first game you can enjoy for free during September 2019 is the popular Batman: Arkham Knight. In its official blog post announcing September’s free games, Sony describes the game like this:
“Descend into the besieged streets of Arkham City as DC’s most-iconic crime-fighting crusader in Rocksteady’s neo-noir action adventure and explosive finale to the Arkham series.Pull on the legendary black cowl and explore the vast neon metropolis, grappling up walls and vaulting across rooftops, gliding between buildings, or tearing through the streets in the super-powered Batmobile. Go up against some of the caped crusader’s most iconic enemies, including Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc and more, using brutal hand-to-hand combat and an array of gadgets to liberate the over-run city once and for all. Are you ready to become the Batman?”
Darksiders III
The next game Sony announced which will be free for PS Plus subscribers in September is Darksiders III. This is interesting, since we had actually included Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition in our August 2019 PS Plus predictions. Here is Sony’s description on their blog for this game:
“A visceral hack-and-slash action adventure, Darksiders III places you in a dark fantasy world filled with diverse environments, dangerous foes, hidden secrets, and weapons and abilities to unlock. Take on the role of Fury, the most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horseman, as she returns to the scorched Earth to hunt down and destroy the Seven Deadly Sins. Track down each of the Seven Deadly Sins, slay their minions, and restore the balance between good and evil on Earth. Let the apocalypse begin…”
You can download these games to play for free beginning on Tuesday, September 3rd. You’ll be able to continue to enjoy them through September 30th, after which it will be time for October’s free games. Follow our PlayStation news section for predictions and announcements for upcoming months.
