If you are a member of Xbox’s Games with Gold, you get to look forward to playing free games each month. The announcement for free games for July 2018 should be coming soon, but we can already make a few predictions. Here is what we think we might be able to play for free next month!
1. Just Cause 3
Sony put Just Cause 3 up for free in August 2017, and there is a pattern where Microsoft will often follow suit later down the line. You might recall that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for instance was free on PS Plus in October 2017 and on Games with Gold in May 2018. On top of that, Just Cause 3 was free for Xbox Live gold Members in May. Why not put it up for free again through Games with Gold so that more players have a chance to enjoy it?
2. LEGO Worlds
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga as well as LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean have both been offered for free by Microsoft in the past, and this month, you can play LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues on Games with Gold. It seems entirely possible that next month we’ll see LEGO Worlds. Let’s hope so, because how awesome would that be?
3. Armello
Finally, we need to make a prediction as to what indie game will be offered for free on Games with Gold. This game combines elements of a tabletop RPG with a CCG. The fact that it has a multiplayer component only adds to its appeal both to Microsoft and to gamers.
