Right now, gamers are busy enjoying the August 2020 free games through Xbox Games with Gold. Among these are Portal Knights, Override: Mech City Brawl, MX Unleashed and Red Faction II. But you probably already are wondering what you will be able to play for free next month with your subscription. Let’s go over some possible free Xbox Games with Gold September 2020 titles.
1. Shift Quantum
Among the game releases upcoming in September is Ary and the Secret of Seasons. Since this title comes from eXiin and Fishing Cactus, maybe another Fishing Cactus game will be free in September. Our prediction is Shift Quantum.
The official description reads, “Shift Quantum is a brain-busting platformer using a unique mechanic called SHIFTING, a way to twist your environment and invert space around you. Bend your mind to reach the exit of each level and unveil the secrets of a strange program.”
2. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Marvel’s Avengers is due to release on September 4th on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. Maybe we will get to play another Marvel game for free in September. Our pick is Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. This 2006 game arrived on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and most other platforms. It still has not been free through Games with Gold.
3. NBA 2K20
NBA 2K21 is coming out on September 4th on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Switch and Stadia. This game was free for PS Plus subscribers in July, but has not yet been free for Xbox Games with Gold subscribers. Maybe it will be next month. Although, this may be a long shot, since Microsoft is not in the habit of offering titles in this series for free.
4. Horizon Chase Turbo
The arcade racer Inertial Drift is set to release on September 11th on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Switch. Maybe we can play another arcade racing game next month for free through Games with Gold. We would opt for Horizon Chase Turbo. It is officially described “a racing game inspired by the great hits of the 80’s and 90’s: Out Run, Top Gear, Rush, among others. It recreates classic arcade gameplay and offers you unbound speed limits of fun.”
