Galaxy Opal Kawhi Leonard Leads NBA 2K20 Prime Series III Cards Release

A brand new Galaxy Opal Kawhi Leonard in NBA 2K20 will be one plenty of MyTeam fans will be striving to add to the roster. The two-time NBA Finals MVP and current Los Angeles Clippers star headlines the new NBA 2K20 Prime Series III packs in the game. He’s joined by several other past and present players receiving Galaxy Opals for the content release.

NBA 2K20 Prime Series III packs bring Galaxy Opal Kawhi Leonard, Joel Embiid

The NBA is planning to resume its season next month at Disney World Resort in Orlando and will have 22 teams participating. They’ll include playoff contenders such as the Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Clippers, as well as the San Antonio Spurs as they try to get into the playoffs. Ironically, those are the three teams that NBA 2K20 Prime Series III headliner Kawhi Leonard has been a member of.

The new Galaxy Opal Kawhi Leonard card is based on his days as a member of the San Antonio Spurs and brings the heat for sure. Leonard has 98 Defending, 97 Athleticism, 97 Outside Scoring, 95 Inside Scoring, 93 Playmaking, and 90 Rebounding attributes.

Kawhi also has a total of 51 Hall of Fame Badges including popular ones like Relentless Finisher, Giant Slayer, Deadeye, Clutch Shooter, Dimer, Clamps, and Intimidator. In the official Prime Series III Kawhi release trailer, we also learn of the other players that are available. They include former Raptors teammate Pascal Siakam, along with former Spurs stars George Gervin, Tony Parker, and David Robinson. There are also new Galaxy Opals for “The Glove” Gary Payton and Sixers big man Joel Embiid.

Prime Series III packs, boxes, and card costs

Gamers can find the Prime Series III: Kawhi Leonard packs and boxes at MyTeam Market. A five-card Series III pack goes for 7,500 Virtual Currency (VC) or 10,500 MT. There’s also a 10-card box for 67,500 VC and a 20-pack box for 135,000 VC.

There’s also the Auctions if you’ve got the MT to spend. As for the Kawhi Leonard Galaxy Opal, it’s going for close to 1.5 million MT on the PS4 auction listings.

Joel Embiid seems to be the second-highest on the auctions, with one listing going to 933,000 MT. However, others went for under 600,000 MT, so keep an eye on that one. Pascal Siakam is going for over 490,000 MT and as much as 640,000 MT.

Gary Payton’s card is getting a modest 171,000 MT on PS4 listings, at most. The “Iceman” George Gervin is going for as much as 211,700 MT on PS4.
