While waiting for Gears 5 to be released sometime in 2019, there are some things apart from what Gears 5 trailer revealed to us that we would love to see. Here’s some of the things we want from the Gears of War fifth installment.
According to the trailer, there will be plenty of new environments in Gears 5 that look a lot different from one another. Despite the fact that there are guesses everywhere about two parallel storylines going on in Gears 5, it would be exciting if we could at least see some of JD and Marcus’ story. Do not get me wrong, we all know Kait is the main character in the new Gears of War video game, but all I am saying is that we could have two thirds Kait’s story and like one third JD and Marcus’, switching from one group to the other and witnessing both developments in one game. Judging by the diversity of the different places the game will feature, it looks like that could happen.
Furthermore, with reference to the multiplayer modes of all Gears of War, it would be fun if we had some of them making a return in Gears 5 as well. Nevertheless, new modes are more than welcome and very likely to appear, but some of the old ones can and should make a comeback simply because players loved them and they were fun to play. For example, Beast Mode, which made its appearance in Gear of War 3, was a nice entry to the Gears of War series as well as fascinating to play.
Speaking of the Beast Mode, which was a reverse of the classic Horde mode gameplay, how fun would it be if Horde mode made a comeback in Gears 5, too? After its introduction in Gears of War 2, this mode made another two appearances with some changes in Gears of War 3 and Gears of War 4. Moreover, this is another reason we can hope it will appear in Gears 5, maybe with some other changes, making it even more fun than it already is.
All the above would be nice to see in the new Gears 5. It is rumored that it will be released in 2019, and our hopes and expectations are very high. However, judging by the stuff we already know about it, it will certainly be awesome.
