God Eater 3 Development Not Affected By Code Vein Delay

Bandai Namco has revealed that the God Eater 3 development is not affected by the recent Code Vein delay. This was announced during a recent broadcast for the upcoming third entry in the series. The game’s producer Yusuke Tomizawa and Code Vein director Hiroshi Yoshimura talked about the delay during the broadcast.

Yoshimura apologized for the delay and reassured fans that the team is working hard on Code Vein to make it feel the best it can when it does eventually release in 2019. We’ve already covered the official delay from its original September 28th, 2018 release date to an unknown 2019 release so check that out for more information on it.

Considering that both God Eater 3 and Code Vein are vaguely similar games from Bandai Namco, it is understandable that fans might think that the delay of the latter could affect the former’s eventual and currently unknown release date. Thankfully, that isn’t the case. The two games are actually being developed by two completely separate development teams so the delay isn’t affecting the upcoming God Eater game at all.

You can watch the entire God Eater 3 broadcast above. The moment where Yusuke Tomizawa and Hiroshi Yoshimura apologize for the Code Vein delay and speak on it is around the 11-minute mark. The entire broadcast is more than two hours long in length but it’s worth watching if you are interested in more little details regarding the game.

The God Eater 3 broadcast goes deep into the various monsters, characters, mechanics, and development process that you will find when the game releases.
