August is nearly upon us, which means that there’s a whole month’s worth of new PlayStation 4 game releases to look forward to. While PS4 gamers will have to wait a little while longer to play more highly anticipated 2018 titles like Sony’s Spider-Man or Battlefield V, there’s still a number of promising games to look forward to throughout the month of August, all of which we have listed below for your perusal.
Some of the more choice selections coming in August include Motion Twin’s highly replayable roguelike Dead Cells, Compulsion Games’ bizarre dystopian survival game We Happy Few, and Ys Net’s two-in-one remaster of the first two Shenmue games. However, no matter where your gaming tastes lie, there should be at least one or two games coming out in August that will interest you. Again, all the really good stuff won’t start arriving until the September-October stretch, but Augusts’ selection of platformers, adventure games, sports titles, and racing sims should hold you over for a while.
