Hitman 2: How to Complete All of the Fishy Business Challenges

As part of Hitman 2’s January content rollout, Io Interactive has added in a unique new challenge pack. The ‘Fishy Business’ challenge pack includes five Miami-based challenges which, as the name infers, all involve fish in some way. Completing all five challenges unlocks the ‘Fishing Line’ Fiber Wire replacement along with 4,000 mastery profile XP. In the below guide, we show you how to complete all of the Fishy Business challenges as efficiently as possible.

Hitman 2 Fishy Business Challenge Pack Walkthrough

We’ve gone ahead and made separate entries for each of the five Fishy Business challenges below. Feel free to move down the list or skip to any specific challenges you may be struggling with. Also, it’s possible to complete all five challenges in one go with the right setup, no need to keep restarting. We’ve also included that ideal starting setup below.

Fishy Business Setup

For the ideal setup, make sure you have the fish melee weapon and Dolphin Fountain starting point unlocked. Dolphin Fountain is unlocked at Miami mastery rank 2 and the fish weapon is unlocked at mastery rank 4. Along with the fish you’ll also want to equip the coin and any silenced pistol.

Shark from Above

When the mission loads up, run straight ahead into the Kronstadt facility. Once inside, turn left and look for a small coat check booth. Hop over the counter and look behind the second rack to the right to find a Kronstadt engineer disguise.

Put the disguise on and exit out the booth’s eastern door. Turn right, then immediately left, then left again to enter the aquarium area. Slightly ahead you should spot a silver door with a blue and white sign on it. Head through the door and look on the large white printer for a screwdriver. Take the screwdriver, head back out the door and turn to your right.

If you look slightly up you’ll see a hanging shark display. Also, if you followed our previous instructions, two guards should be walking right under the display. When the guards stop walking, aim your silenced pistol and shoot the display’s wires. The shark will fall and kill both guards, completing the Shark from Above challenge.

Aquatic Savior

With the two guards dead, retrieve their weapons and keycard before dumping their bodies in the nearby water tank. Then, take out your silenced pistol again and shoot the glass for aquarium display 14, 6, and 7. Each display drops a fish when broken, which means you’ll now have four fish total. Toss three of the fish into the same tank where you dumped the bodies to unlock the Aquatic Savior challenge.

The Little Merman

Next, head over to the first floor expo room and use the screwdriver to sabotage Robert Knox’s display car. Then, exit out the southern door and head down the stairs. Wait inside the workshop until the racing marshal walks behind the white van then move over and choke him out. Take the marshal’s disguise then head up the eastern stairs to the race marshal’s booth. Knock out the second racing marshal with the fish and use the flag to disqualify Sierra Knox from the race.

Now, this next part’s a bit tricky so be sure to make a manual save just in case. Head back down the stairs, put the engineer disguise back on, and proceed back up towards the car you sabotaged. By now, Robert Knox should be investigating the car. Stand in a spot where you’re not within anyone’s eyesight but you are within earshot of Knox.

Take out one of the guards’ pistols and shoot it into the floor to cause a panic. Then, quickly run back over to the aquarium and equip your silenced pistol. Knox will head to the aquarium with two bodyguards in tow. Quickly kill both the bodyguards with your silenced pistol and then knock Knox out with the fish. Dump his body into the water tank to complete the Little Merman challenge.

Bigger Fish

Take one of the bodyguard disguises and head back to where you knocked out the race marshal. Go through the white door to your left and out into the grassy courtyard. Proceed south and a little east to conveniently find the Florida Man fishing by a large fish display.

Again, you’ll want to make a manual save since this part is a bit tricky. You have to shoot the display so it swings down and hits Florida Man, killing him. To get Florida Man into position, throw a coin near the display when his back is turned. Then, run back, take out your silenced pistol, and shoot the display’s anchoring hook. If your timing is right, the display will kill Florida Man, completing the Bigger Fish challenge.

Fish Attack!

Since you knocked Robert Knox out with the fish, all you have to do now is knock out Sierra. Also, since you disqualified Sierra from the race, she should be wandering around the racer paddock area. Unfortunately, she has an assistant following her around and the assistant sees through all disguises.

If you think you can make a clean getaway, the bodyguard disguise lets you get close to Sierra. Just run up to her, whack her with the fish, and shoot her body to eliminate her. Then, book it to the nearest exit. You can’t get a Silent Assassin rating for this challenge pack anyways so getting caught is irrelevant.
