Hitman 2 developer Io Interactive has unveiled the game’s June content roadmap. As usual, the roadmap outlines the new Featured Contracts, Escalation Contracts, and Elusive Targets coming to Hitman 2 this month. However, those who own the game’s Expansion Pass also have a few bonus content additions to look forward to. Expansion Pass owners will get to take on a pair of new Special Assignments and visit the new Bank location.
Hitman 2 June Roadmap
According to this post on Io’s website, Hitman 2’s June roadmap is chock full of content. As of this writing, players can already partake in the new Muffin Man challenge pack for the Whittleton Creek location. Completing all Muffin Man challenges awards a Blueberry Muffin non-lethal projectile that’s usable in any mission.
The Double Elusive Target that was originally part of Hitman 2’s May roadmap has also been delayed slightly into June. Starting on Friday, June 7, players can attempt to eliminate The Deceivers in Sapienza. This special Elusive Target mission features not one but two returning legacy targets: The Guru and The Congressman. The Deceivers will stick around for a total of 10 days.
Both of the Expansion Pass-exclusive additions will arrive later in the month on June 25. On that day, Expansion Pass owners can head to the new Bank location. The Bank includes a new ‘Golden Handshake’ campaign mission, new challenges, unlockable rewards, and more. Expansion Pass owners can also head to Mumbai and Santa Fortuna to attempt Hitman 2’s first pair of Special Assignments. These new missions feature altered versions of existing locations along with brand new targets to take down.
Rounding out the June roadmap are new Featured Contracts, Escalation Contracts, another Elusive Target, and another game update. June’s second Elusive Target, The Entertainer, will be Hitman 2’s first Marrakesh legacy target. This means that successfully eliminating him awards the Summer Suit with Gloves outfit for Agent 47.
