How Many Players Can You Have in a Division 2 Party?

The Division 2 launches today, Friday, March 15 after several days of early access. Now that the entire world can play the online open-world shooter, players are beginning to complete the story and pick up Hyena Keys. Of course, there are players who want to do all of this with their friends. So, what is The Division 2 party size for squads?

For those who don’t know, The Division 2 is a massive open-world shooter that is an online service game. This means that it’s mostly about grouping with other players, whether it’s completing the story or doing Dark Zone PvP. As such, it’s important to know The Division 2 party size. This varies for just about every game out there so what is the squad size for this game?

The Division 2 Party Size

The Division 2 party size

For starters, the main party size will be familiar to those who have played The Division 2 before and that’s four players. However, note that we did say “main” party size because it isn’t the only party worth mentioning. When you’re out exploring the world or just doing the story, you’ll be dealing with four-player parties.

But The Division 2 party size can grow from four, though. Note that this is slight spoilers for endgame so turn away now if you don’t want any spoilers for that. The party size does grow to eight in the endgame for special endgame raids that you can take on with your friends.

These challenges are meant to be part of the hardest stuff in the game so you will need to be prepared. In addition, since The Division 2 party size grows just for these events, you will likely have some pretty tough foes to deal with. You will likely want to coordinate a group of players who communicate well with each other so you can win.
