Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is finally available from From Software and Activision after an awesome launch trailer. Players are able to go through, collecting Divine Confetti and other items to help with the journey. While this game is certainly more about the journey than the destination, players do have four endings in total to choose from including the Sekiro Purification Ending.

That’s right, you do have multiple endings to choose from in this Dark Souls-like game. As always, though, the differences between the endings and how you get them can be pretty obscure. That’s why we’re here. In this guide for the game, we are going to go over how you can get the Sekiro Purification Ending. Also, we’ll keep any details about the ending spoiler-free.

How to Unlock the Sekiro Purification Ending

Now, as we mentioned, there are four endings in total that you can get. Of the four endings, some are subjectively worse than others. We would consider the Sekiro Purification Ending on the better side of things. As such, don’t expect to get it really easily. There are some spoilers for some major choices so only proceed if you don’t mind non-ending spoilers or have already gotten one ending.

When you get the option to stay loyal to Kuro or betray him, you are going to want to stay loyal. Once you have done that, you are going to want to do the following things, courtesy of PCGamesN:

  • Follow the smoke on the roof to Isshin’s and listen to Isshin and Emma
  • Rest and then listen to Kuro secretly as well
  • Chat with Emma regarding Kuro
  • Rest again and talk with Emma again
  • Fast travel to the Old Graves Idol and speak with Emma
  • Then travel to the Dilapidated Temple and talk with Emma and the Sculptor then return to secretly listen to them
  • Speak with Emma again to get a bell
  • Use the bell and then follow the rest of the story for the Sekiro Purification Ending
