The eighth weekly challenge of ‘Defying the Odds,’ Battlefield 5’s fourth big Tides of War chapter, is now available. This week, the challenge offers fans a chance to unlock a new Battlefield 5 Panzer 38t skin called “Fall Grün”. The challenge also coincides with the launch of the ‘Bombtastic Fantastic 2.0’ playlist, which is ideally suited to completing this week’s objectives.
How to Get the Battlefield 5 Panzer 38t “Fall Grün” Skin
This week’s challenge, “Time-Honoured Combat,” is a little more complex than last week’s. As usual, there are multiple ways to progress through the challenge, but as you can see from the diagram, the paths aren’t all straight. While you can complete the challenge objectives in any game mode, the new Bombtastic Fantastic 2.0 playlist is well-suited to it. The playlist contains the following maps and modes; Hamada (Conquest), Panzerstorm (Conquest), Arras (Breakthrough), Twisted Steel (Conquest), Panzerstorm (Breakthrough), and Mercury (Conquest).
- Cruising (12,000 XP); For this opening objective, you simply need to earn 2,000 score while using a stationary weapon or vehicle.
- Tank Repairman (12,000 XP); Next up, this simple objective requires you to repair any vehicle used by your teammates for 150 health.
- Hard Currency (12,000 XP); One of the few objectives this week which doesn’t relate to vehicles, Hard Currency requires you to resupply your squadmates’ ammunition for a total of 2,000 score.
- Dragonslayer (12,000 XP); For this objective, you’ll need to use either AT Mines or Anti-Materiel Rifles to deal 300 damage to either halftracks or tanks.
- Mobile Firebase (12,000 XP); After destroying all those vehicles, you’ll need to make use of them for Mobile Firebase. For this objective, you’ll need to either kill, down, or kill assist 10 times while you’re using a tank or halftrack.
- Dead in its Tracks (12,000 XP); For this objective, you must disable an enemy tank’s engine 3 times.
- A Line in the Sand (12,000 XP); Easily completed on almost any mode, this objective requires you to capture 8 Objectives.
- Tank Ace (12,000 XP); Following on from Mobile Firebase, you now need to destroy 3 enemy vehicles while you’re using a tank or halftrack.
- Angry Angel (4,000 XP); This small objective doesn’t offer much XP, but it should be quick to complete. You just need to deal 200 damage while using an aircraft.
- Complex Logistics (12,000 XP); This objective could take some time to complete. It requires you and your squadmates to spend a total of 50,000 Requisition Points.
- Anvil (12,000 XP); For this objective, you must get 2,500 objective score while using a tank or halftrack.
- With Steel (25,000 XP); For the final objective of this week’s challenge, you’ll need to kill, down, or kill assist 25 enemies using any stationary weapon or vehicle.
