Images Have Surfaced from a PS5 Cooling Patent

Recent rumors have indicated that the PlayStation 5 is going to feature incredible clock times and lightning fast load times. But how will this ultra-powerful console stay cool? This is a question which may now be answered, thanks to the discovery of a possible PS5 cooling patent, complete with an image of the alleged cooling device.

We know that the designer is Yusuhiro Ootori. Looking at the device, it appears to consist of heat fins along with vents. What else can we say about it? Not much at this point. Its appearance has drawn joking comparisons to everything from a jet engine to a viewfinder. However it works, it looks serious. And considering how powerful the PlayStation 5 is supposed to be, it would have to be in order to keep up with the cooling needs of the console–assuming a cooling device is even what it is. Going by the latest rumors, it seems like the PS5 may even outperform the Xbox Scarlett.
