Bethesda Announces Imperial City Celebration Event for Elder Scrolls Online
Bethesda has announced yet another Elder Scrolls Online event for this September; the Imperial City Celebration Event. As the name suggests, the event will take place in the Imperial City, pitting players against hordes of Daedra and offering double rewards for the duration.

Bethesda announced the Imperial City Celebration Event in an update on the official Elder Scrolls Online website. The event will start at 3:00 PM BST on the 6th of September, next week. It will run for around two weeks, concluding at the same time on the 17th of September. Players will need to own the Imperial City DLC to take part in the event, or else have ESO Plus membership. Throughout the event, the DLC will be on sale with a 50% discount in the Crown Store; players will be able to purchase it for just 1,250 Crowns. The Imperial City Collector’s Bundle will also be reduced to 2,200 Crowns; an even greater discount of 60%.
During the Imperial City Celebration Event, players have the chance to earn double rewards in the Imperial City. All Tel Var stones which drop from monsters will double, along with the number of Key Fragments. All drops from bosses will be doubled, as will the sacks dropped by Cunning Scamps and Trove Scamps. Finally, the chance for players to pick up the Stonefire Scamp pet or Soul-Shriven Skin will double. (A recent update actually packaged these into Runeboxes so that players can sell them to Guild Traders.) These rewards will be available across all activities in the Imperial City, including its dungeons; the Imperial City Sewers and White-Gold Tower.
