This reveal of a Yugi Muto Jump Force gameplay trailer has got to be one of those moments that we’ve all been waiting for, because not only did it show off more of the game’s story, but Yugi Muto’s gameplay abilities too.

Yugi Muto, the main man behind the Yu-Gi-Oh anime, wields an extraordinary power that is like no other. While heroes like Naruto, Goku, Luffy, and Ichigo have massive hearts to match their ridiculously-sized fists, Yugi relies on the heart of the cards to do his fighting. To be more specific: he uses Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, and Slifer the Sky Dragon.

This announcement comes straight from Bandai Namco’s official Twitter account. There we saw the new gameplay trailer, which showed off just what sort of power Yugi will be packing when players go up against him next year. Remember folks, he’s Yugi Muto. Don’t mess with him.

Yugi’s Gear and Jump Force Story Hints

Bandai Namco revealed during 2018’s Tokyo Game Show that players would be able to customize their own character. While the trailer shown on Bandai’s Twitter account didn’t specifically state that Yugi’s gear would be available to equip, we did wonder if that would be a possibility. If not Yugi’s then we’ll gladly accept Dark Magician/Dark Magician Girl’s outfits too.

However, the Yu-Gi-Oh trailer didn’t just show off Yugi. We were also lucky enough to see a couple of hints on where the story would take place, and how the world of anime will cross over with ours. How their world got connected with ours is a mystery, but one that we’re looking forward to solving.
