Jump Force Release Date Revealed, Along with New Characters

Jump Force has proven once again that it loves to get bigger and better with each new announcement. This time it’s about the Jump Force release date, revealed during the Paris Games Week. Considering that Red Dead Redemption 2 reviews have just been announced, we’ve got to give Bandai Namco credit with releasing the date at such a precarious time.

Regardless, we at least know when we can finally plug into our consoles/PC and fight. That day will be February 15th, 2019. So, book your days off and get ready to fight for your life as your favorite anime and manga characters – it’s going to be a complete blast.

Of course, this wasn’t the only reveal that Bandai Namco had in store for everyone.

Jump Force Paris Games Week: Two Character Reveals

Jump Force Ryo and Kenshiro

Do you remember how I said that I didn’t see any hint on who the next character could be in Jump Force’s teaser? It turns out I was an absolute idiot, and also very wrong. As you can see above, two new characters were revealed. One was Kenshiro (above) from Fist of the North Star. The other was Ryo from City Hunter.

Kenshiro is the main character from Fist of the North Star, and it seems he’s ready to kick ass as always. Personally? I just hope he’s ‘you are already dead’ line is in there, otherwise consider my pre-order canceled. I’m mostly kidding.

On the other hand, Ryo was a character that I honestly was not expecting to appear. Mostly because, in my opinion, Ryo’s main weapon is his guns (no, not the guns) which makes him stand out against most of the roster in Jump Force. Whether that’ll turn out to be good thing or not remains to be seen.

Jump Force will be released on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 on February 15th, 2019.
