When I heard that KartRider Rush+ was coming out on May 12th, I was ready to download it that day. I love Nexon’s other free-to-play games, and I had high expectations for their mobile racing game. In my KartRider Rush+ review, I am going to tell you all about the features of the game and its pros and cons. I’m also going to share some exciting news with you about a special giveaway for KartRider Rush+ players. What is KartRider Rush+?
KartRider Rush+ is the newest mobile kart racing game from Nexon. You can play it for free on your iOS or Android device (in-app purchases are available). Even though the game has only been out for a few weeks now, there are already more than 300 million players.
If you’re in the Asian market, you doubtless already know the KartRider franchise well. But if you are in the western world, you may not. Suffice to say, it is a huge deal in Korea.
45+ Tracks, Multiple Game Modes, and Complete Customization
There is a reason KartRider Rush+ has become so popular so fast. Actually, I’d say there are a lot of reasons. Basically, this game has it all. However you like to play, you can customize every aspect of your KartRider Rush+ experience. You can choose from a number of exciting game modes and numerous tracks. You can also accessorize your Racer and your Kart to your heart’s content.
Modes include Speed Race, Arcade Mode, Ranked Mode, Story Mode and Time Trial. Arcade Mode actually features a subset of different modes as well, like Lucci Runner and Item Race.
The mode I’ve been playing the most is Speed Race, because it’s in that mode that you can unlock more tracks, and I’m addicted. There are more than 45 different tracks. Each of them is beautifully designed, offering different twists and turns and challenges.
Thrilling, Immersive Gameplay
While I enjoy all the different modes and tracks, honestly where KartRider Rush+ really shines is with its gameplay. And that’s what matters the most with a kart racing game.
The mobile controls are intuitive, and they give you an unparalleled level of control over boosts and drifts. Usually I find gaming on mobile with touch controls cumbersome, but not in this game. The buttons on-screen are unobtrusive, but easy to use.
In fact, pretty soon, you’ll forget that you’re tapping with your fingers. You’ll just be concentrating on filling your nitro bar and relishing your speed boosts.
Any downsides I can think to mention? Not a lot, but the microtransactions arguably can be a bit obnoxious when you’re on the home menu.
Thankfully, they are also innocuous. Yes, you can shortcut your way to better vehicles by paying cash. But if you don’t want to do that or can’t afford it, you’ll get there eventually by earning and spending in-game currency.

Verdict
To wrap up my KartRider Rush+ review, I’ve been playing this game for weeks now, and I just keep getting more hooked. As far as mobile kart experiences go, this may be one of the most immersive I have played. It’s easy to forget that I’m looking at a tiny screen and tapping on my device.
