As the 16th of April approaches, Borderlands 3 fans only have a couple of days left to play the game’s two latest mini-events; Loot Monster Mayhem and Rare Chest Riches. These two events, which Gearbox launched last week, will come to an end on the 16th, before being replaced by a new pair of mini-events.
Last Chance to Play Loot Monster Mayhem & Rare Chest Riches
Ever since the last week of March, Gearbox has been running a steady cycle of Borderlands 3 mini-events. While their Co-op Loot Drop event is running throughout April, the multiplayer event is always accompanied by a pair of smaller, week-long mini-events. The latest of these are Loot Monster Mayhem and Rare Chest Riches. Both of these events are currently live in-game, but only for the next two days.

The first of the two events, Loot Monster Mayhem, focuses specifically on its namesake. While the event is live, the odds of encountering a loot enemy are much higher. These “loot enemies” are those enemies which carry a large sack or container of loot on their back, and which typically flee at the sight of players. Plus, the event also increases the likelihood that these loot enemies will drop Legendary gear.
The second event is Rare Chest Riches. As you might expect, this event makes finding Rare Chests a bit more worthwhile. While the event is active, all of Borderlands 3’s Rare Chests have a better chance of containing Legendary items. As such, players may well find it worth their time to track down a few of the game’s Rare Chests in the next couple of days, before the event comes to an end. It’s currently unknown what the next pair of Borderlands 3 mini-events will be. However, each of the events thus far has focused on increasing the likelihood that players will get Legendary gear from certain activities.
