Leaked Video Shows PS5s in a Warehouse

Demand for PS5 consoles is high—as in ridiculously high. Sony projected this to be the case, but some of the stats that are emerging are astonishing. For example, did you know Sony sold more PS5s in a single day than PS4s in the first three months? Naturally, keeping up with that demand is a challenge. In fact, given that some pre-orders won’t ship out until 2021, it seems Sony is struggling to do so. But now, a leaked video supposedly showing PS5s in a warehouse is giving some gamers hope.

The video showed up on Reddit. You can see the post below from user Niza_Zombie_King.

The clip is very brief, and takes viewers on a walk through a warehouse. During the walk, you can see a large quantity of PS5 consoles in boxes.  Obviously, this is just a tiny glimpse of what is actually in warehouses waiting to go out to customers. But it is an encouraging peek.

Apparently by the end of March, Sony expects that 7.6 million consoles will ship. That is an impressive quantity, and it does seem to suggest that the company will do fairly well keeping up with the high demand.

Regardless, we recommend that you watch retail pages for the PlayStation 5 like a hawk when the November 12th release date rolls around. It is hard to believe that is next week, but it has finally arrived! Whatever units go back in stock that day are going to fly off the shelves, so you will need to be ready to jump on any opportunity you see. Good luck getting a PS5, and keep up with our PlayStation news so you don’t miss out on any updates.
