LEGO DC Super-Villains Out Now

Family-Friendly Evil in LEGO DC Super-Villains

As LEGO DC Super-Villains launches today, the dark hearts of Gotham and Metropolis have never been so gosh darn family-friendly.

The game is developed in partnership by TT Games, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, The LEGO Group and DC. The standard edition is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC for $59.99. The deluxe edition, which includes the season pass retails for $74.99.

Choose Your Own Evildoer

In LEGO DC Super-Villains, players create their own comic book villain, designing their costume and appearance and assigning abilities. The game features local co-op multiplayer, so villains can team up with a friend for the entirety of the game.

Intriguingly, players also have the opportunity to recruit iconic villains to fight by their side.

“DC has some of the most popular Super-Villains in the world and it’s exciting to see these characters call the shots in this new game,” said Ames Kirshen, Vice President of Interactive & Animation for DC Entertainment.

That roster of villains includes The Joker, Lex Luthor and Harley Quinn, among others.

Where’s The Justice League?

Where you have you gone, Sweet Prince of Kryton?

While DC’s super-villains take center stage, Batman and Superman’s foes won’t be attempting to accomplish evil ends in LEGO DC Super-Villains. Instead, following the Justice League’s disappearance, a new group of heroes from an alternate dimension, calling themselves, the Justice Syndicate, have replaced them.

But, Gotham and Metropolis’ villains suspect that the Justice Syndicate is up to no good, and team up to take down the imposters.

TT Games has developed a near-endless series of LEGO tie-in games, including LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. However, this is the studio’s first game to cast players as villains.
