Madden 19 Ultimate Team Adds Patriots’ Stars For Zero Chill, Ravens Legends, & T.O.

On Saturday, December 29, the belated Christmas gifts continued to arrive for the Madden 19 Ultimate Team Legends and the MUT Zero Chill promotion. The latest group of players includes several New England Patriots stars as well as several legends from the Baltimore Ravens. There’s also a limited time card of a Pro Bowl wide receiver available as of Saturday and more.

Madden 19 Ultimate Team Zero Chill Patriots Stars

The New England Patriots are headed to the postseason once again as the AFC East Champions. They also are looking at at least the No. 2 seed, based on recent NFL Week 17 simulation predictions. Ahead of their final game of the regular season, the Madden 19 Zero Chill promotion features a pair of cards for two of their star players: tight end Rob Gronkowski, and a 96 Ghosts of Madden Past Ty Law. That brings the former cornerback into the mix for Ultimate Team.

The Rob Gronkowski card posted on EA’s Madden Ultimate Team Twitter has an “OOP” logo on it, which typically stands for Out of Position. However, they were quick to clarify that the OOP should be disregarded and it’s a regular TE Gronk. His Ghosts of Madden Present card carries a 95 overall rating too.

So far, based on comments on the card drop on Twitter, a lot of gamers aren’t so impressed. In particular, there are a few gamers who believe he should have a Ghosts of Madden Past card for the performances he had in his better days. This season hasn’t exactly been the best for one of the top tight ends in the NFL.

Madden 19 Ultimate Team Legends – Ravens, Owens

The MUT squad dropped several players who were stars in their heyday and played for the Baltimore Ravens. One of those was former Super Bowl MVP Ray Lewis. He is joined by another former Baltimore player, Shannon Sharpe. He only spent two seasons with the team, but for those gamers using a Ravens squad, it certainly is a good day.

Sharpe was part of three Super Bowl championship teams including the Denver Broncos (1997, 1998) and the Baltimore Ravens in 2000. That makes him worthy of inclusion with Lewis as a member of the Ravens legends.

In addition to the two Ravens players, EA’s Madden Ultimate Team Twitter mentioned Terrell Owens. They’ve released a limited time card for the Pro Bowl wide receiver as well. However, some gamers believe based on the low rating the card carries it may not be worth it.

On Friday, there were six different Ghosts of Madden cards unveiled. They included Ghosts of Madden Present cards for the Steelers’ Antonio Brown (95) and Texans’ J.J. Watt (95). There were also Ghosts of Madden Future cards for the Giants’ Saquon Barkley (94) and Chargers’ Derwin Jenkins (94). As blasts from the past, there were Ghosts of Madden Past cards released for the Eagles’ Brian Dawkins (96) and Giants’ Jeremy Shockey (96).

The Madden 19 Zero Chill event is scheduled to run until January 7. That gives gamers plenty of time to participate and keep building their Ultimate Team rosters to be the best they can.
