Madden 20 NFL 100 Week 3: Special Teams & Defensive Backs Revealed Including Devin Hester, Deion Sanders

Each week, the NFL is announcing different groups of star players selected to its NFL 100 All-Time team. Over the past several weeks, we’ve seen a number of players already selected for the squad including running backs and linebackers. Some of those players also received high-rated cards for EA’s Madden Ultimate Team. On Friday, December 6, the latest players unveiled for the Madden 20 NFL 100 promotion included special teams players and defensive backs.

Sanders, Hester, Guy, and Brown added for Madden 20 NFL 100 Week 3 players

EA’s Madden NFL Twitter revealed a promotional video on Friday evening to show off the four newest additions for NFL 100 in Ultimate Team. They are cornerback Deion Sanders, wide receiver/kick returner Devin Hester, cornerback Willie Brown, and punter Ray Guy.

Keep in mind, these are the players chosen for EA Madden’s Ultimate Team promotion out of a bigger group. See the full NFL 100 list of defensive back/specialist players revealed at NFLcom.

Those four players now have upgraded new cards that gamers can acquire. Many MUT gamers might have the 92 overall Deion card as part of the Madden Ultimate Team 10 promotion, but now he’s got an even better one to go after.

New NFL 100 items and how to get them

The man known as “Prime Time” gets a new 94 overall card as part of Madden 20 NFL 100. It includes 95 Speed, 95 Agility, 95 Acceleration, and 94 Man Coverage. Some MUT rosters may have him as not only a starting cornerback but also returning punts/kicks.

That’s if they don’t opt for the new Devin Hester item, which also brings a 95 Speed amongst his key attributes. Hester was known for his kick returning skills a a member of the Chicago Bears and will help to boost many rosters, especially those that are Bears theme teams. He’s also a capable receiver, but probably won’t beat out other options like Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, or Tyreek Hill.

Each of the four players shown above has three new items in the game. There’s a Power Up card, an 84 OVR Base card, and then the 94 OVR Centennial card. Gamers can acquire the Power Ups by playing the Madden 20 NFL 100 Solo Challenges for each of the players.

Defeat all four of these challenges to get a NAT Fantasy Pack. It gives a choice of any one of the players’ Base cards (Hester, Sanders, Brown, or Guy).

To get a 94 Centennial Card means building a set of any 25 Week 3 Base cards, or heading to the Auction Browser and spending big on the specific player card you want.
