Madden 20 Rumors: Raiders’ Josh Jacobs May Have One of Best Rookie Ratings in Game

There are still over two months until the new Madden NFL 20 video game arrives. However, news and rumors are arriving as the game approaches its late July pre-order release date. While NFL rookies had images captured for Madden, they haven’t revealed any official rookie ratings yet for the game. That was, until recently, when at least one rookie, the Oakland Raiders’ Josh Jacobs shared his Madden 20 rating.

Madden 20 rumors sparked by Josh Jacobs’ rating

According to 247 Sports, a number of the 2019 Draft class rookies got to see their numbers during this weekend’s NFLPA Rookie Premiere event. That included Josh Jacobs, who was the No. 24 pick in the draft by the Oakland Raiders. Jacobs sent out a rather interesting series of tweets, including his rating. He’ll start in Madden 20 as a 74 overall. However, his follow up tweet indicates there’s only one rookie with a higher rating.

Of course, Jacobs also said of those he “talked to.” It’s unknown if he talked to all of the incoming rookies. However, he shot down one Twitter commenter who asked if Kyler Murray has a higher rating. So if that’s true, it sparks Madden 20 rumors about what rookie has a higher rating. Some commenters are already guessing it’s Nick Bosa or Quinnen Williams.

We should get a good idea of who it is once Madden 20 ratings reveals start to happen in the coming weeks ahead of the release date.

Madden 19 has rookies in Ultimate Team now

As gamers await the arrival of the new title, the Madden 19 game still has a promoting going on in Ultimate Team. That involves the 2019 NFL Draft and assembling sets of certain player cards. By putting together these set, gamers were able to trade them in for one of the first-round picks, or later.

So that means, Josh Jacobs is available through that particular part of Madden 19’s Ultimate Team mode. The Josh Jacobs card for the NFL Draft promotion has a 95 OVR as all of the rookies are in the 90s for this MUT event. His card includes 95 Acceleration, 91 Speed, and a 94 Agility, amongst other Key Attributes. Recently-completed sales for the Jacobs card have gone from 60,000 coins up to 77,000 coins at the marketplaces in Ultimate Team.
