Madden 20 Series 5 Redux Players, Competitive Master Joey Bosa Available
With the release of the new Madden 20 Series 5 program on Friday, February 7, there were a number of new player cards that became available. We previously spotlighted those cards including the new Theme Diamonds 2 featuring a Night Train Lane as the top player card available. There are also brand new Power Ups for a number of stars as well as Series 5 Redux players and the new Competitive Master.
Who are the Madden 20 Series 5 Redux Players?
Whenever a brand new series arrives, it means that the limited-availability player cards released before all become permanently available as Redux in packs. Amongst the available Madden 20 Series 5 Redux cards are Luke Kuechly, Eli Manning, Derrick Henry, and Richard Sherman. They carry ratings between 93 and 97 overall as shown below.

Series 5 adds Competitive Master Joey Bosa
Along with the Madden 20 Series 5 Redux players there is a new Competitive Master. For Madden 20 Series 5, it’s the Chargers’ Joey Bosa. The new item (below) features a 97 overall rating and Power Up. Key attributes for the left end include 99 Finesse Moves, 97 Play Recognition, 95 Power Moves, and 90 Strength.
Bosa’s new card is available as a Madden Store Offer in the “Competitive” section. It costs 2,000 series 5 Trophies. There’s also a NAT version available for 1,500 Series 5 Trophies.
With the release of the Series 5 Competitive Masters, the previous MUT Masters are also now able to achieve higher ratings. Both MUT 20 Level Master Torry Holt and Pat Tillman can get to 97 OVR.
For Holt, that requires the Level Master Upgrade Tokens from MUT levels 83 and 88. For Tillman, gamers need to have the Image and Border Tokens. Then it’s possible to spend Madden Training to upgrade Tillman.
