After a content hiatus, EA brought out their Madden 21 Team of the Week player items for weeks 14 and 15 on Tuesday. That means double the amount of new upgraded cards available to boost Ultimate Team rosters. Each of the new TOTW lineups has Limited and Hero cards. That gives some great options at various positions such as halfback David Montgomery and cornerback Richard Sherman.

Madden 21 Team of the Week 14 players include LTD Richard Sherman

Madden Team of the Week 14 and 15 are a bit late, most likely due to a backup with the holiday content and release of the new NFL Playoffs promotion. However, there will now be all sorts of interesting options available such as TOTW 14 Heroes Ricky Williams and Kevin Carter.

The former Dolphins halfback Williams has 95 Acceleration, 93 Speed, 93 Carrying, 93 Break Tackle, 92 Trucking, and 90 Agility. Meanwhile, Rams left end Kevin Carter is a power rusher archetype with Strength, 94 Block Shedding, 94 Power Moves, 92 Play Recognition, and 90 Tackling.

Former Seahawks and current 49ers defensive star Richard Sherman lands TOTW 14’s limited (LTD) card. It’s a sweet 96 OVR card for the 6-foot-3 corner with 97 Jumping, 96 Zone Coverage, 94 Awareness, 94 Play Recognition, and 93 Speed.

TOTW 15 includes David Montgomery, DeSean Jackson

For Madden 21 Team of the Week 15, it’s former New England Patriots tight end Ben Coates as the Offensive Hero. He gets 95 Short Route, 95 Catching, 95 Catch in Traffic, and 92 Medium Route. Los Angeles (Vegas) Raiders cornerback Eric Allen arrives for Defensive Hero. Allen’s key attributes include 96 Acceleration, 94 Speed, 94 Man Coverage, 94 Jumping and 92 Play Recognition. 

The limited player for TOTW 14 is Eagles halfback DeSean Jackson, while Player of the Week is Chicago Bears back David Montgomery. In the wider world, fans saw the underdog Bears fall in the NFL Playoffs to the New Orleans Saints. While it was hardly the most devastating loss considering the state of their NFL playoff odds from all the major sportsbooks, fans will naturally have been left disappointed that the Bears couldn’t find the momentum to overcome those betting expert predictions. Despite that playoffs loss, Bears theme team builders in MUT will certainly welcome Montgomery as an upgraded halfback for their squad to seek redemption for their fallen squad.

New TOTW Challenges now available for rewards

Along with all of the new Madden 21 Team of the Week players, there are also new sets of challenges. TOTW 14 features a Cardinals vs. Giants matchup, while TOTW 15 is the Bears vs. Vikings. Each of these challenges is worth up to 200 Coins, a TOTY Token, and a Hot Streak Pack. Gamers need 14 of 17 TOTY Tokens to exchange for a player card in the near future.

The Hot Streak Pack typically gives gamers a choice of a few players with stats they need to achieve in upcoming games. If a player achieves that, then gamers earn a reward such as a Madden Coins payout for Ultimate Team mode.
