Madden 21 Ultimate Team: Top MUT 21 Cards Revealed for Upcoming Game
With Madden 21 set to release in a bit over a week, gamers are getting a first look at some of the best cards in Ultimate Team. On Monday, EA’s Madden 21 Ultimate Team showed off the top seven players for the mode. They include a number of top-rated players who we’ve seen revealed over the past weeks including members of the exclusive 99 Club.
Who are the top Madden 21 Ultimate Team players?
In Madden 21 Ultimate Team, there will be seven players rated at 88 overall to start off the game season. All of the Madden 99 Club members are part of that group. That means right end Aaron Donald, halfback Christian McCaffrey, wide receiver Michael Thomas, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Two other players join them, both of whom are close to getting into the club this season. Dallas Cowboys’ right guard Zack Martin and Seattle Seahawks’ middle linebacker Bobby Wagner are the final two players of the top seven for MUT 21.
It’s no surprise that these are the top seven players in Ultimate Team mode. They’re at the top or amongst the top players in the Maden 21 ratings. That said, there are sure to be some other options popping up along the way. That seems especially true with the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson as the game’s cover star.
MUT 21 details include Rookie Premiere program
In Ultimate Team mode, gamers can put together a team of past, present, and future players they acquire through buying packs, completing in-game challenges, and bidding on them at the Auction House. New upgraded cards are coming out all season based on different promotions.
We also know that gamers with Madden 20 were able to earn Rookie Premiere players for use in Madden 21 Ultimate Team. There were 10 rookies from the NFL Draft Class of 2020 at different positions. They included the No. 1 pick Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals as well as Washington’s Chase Young and Detroit Lions’ Jeff Okudah.
Gamers earned them through building up a set of 10 Rookie Premiere Tokens to exchange. That gave a 99 overall card for use in Madden 20 and will bring a dynamic card to use in MUT 21. The rookie’s card will upgrade as any promotional items arrive for them throughout the season.
