Madden 21 Wildcard Wednesday: Veterans Robert Griffin III, Josh Norman Added to Ultimate Team
It’s another Madden 21 Wildcard Wednesday and that means a new group of player items for Ultimate Team. Over the past season, these have included Rising Stars, Flashbacks, and Heavyweights among the releases. However, March 24 brought a group of MUT 21 Veterans. Among the upgraded player cards were new items for quarterback Robert Griffin III and cornerback Josh Norman.
Veterans RGIII, Josh Norman join Madden 21 Wildcard Wednesday
On each Madden 21 Wildcard Wednesday, EA releases different Ultimate Team promotions. The Veterans promotion features longtime players from the NFL. For March 24, that includes one of the star corners of the game, Josh Norman, who spent multiple seasons with the Carolina Panthers and Washington Redskins. He most recently starred with the Buffalo Bills and now joins Madden 21 Veterans.
His new card is a 95 overall which includes a 95 Acceleration, 95 Jumping, 94 Agility, and 94 Speed. Other key attributes are his 94 Pass Rushing, 93 Play Recognition, and his 92 Zone Coverage.
Joining Norman in the Wildcard Wednesday release is former Redskins and Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III. With RGIII’s 95 OVR gamers get 95 Running, 95 Throw Power, 94 Short Accuracy, and 93 Throw Under Pressure.
In addition to Josh Norman and Robert Griffin III, there are several more players to look at with this Wildcard Wednesday release. There’s also right outside linebacker Robert Quinn, running back Randall Cobb, and strong safety Taushon Gispon Sr. These particular players all have 95 overall cards with upgraded attributes perfect to boost Madden 21 Ultimate Team rosters.

The newest Madden 21 Veterans players are the highest-rated so far. Previous releases included 94 OVRs, Logan Ryan, Latavius Murray, and Chris Hogan. There were also 93 OVR players, including Tyrod Taylor, Trey Burton, and Linval Joseph. However, the newest releases could give gamers a serious upgrade for some spots on their MUT roster.
How to get Veterans cards in Ultimate Team
One way to get any of the above Veteran cards from Madden 21 Wildcard Wednesday is through the Madden Store. Veterans packs currently cost 6,000 Madden Training and include one 89 or better overall Veterans player inside.
Alternatively, gamers can pick up Flashback, Heavyweights, or Rising Stars packs for that same price. The new Veterans players have a Quicksell value of 25,500 Training points.
The other way to get specific Veterans items is through the Madden 21 Auction House. Josh Norman’s cards are available from 139,000 up to 160,000 Madden Coins. Randall Cobb’s cards are 120,000 to 160,000 Madden Coins.
Robert Griffin III is potentially the most expensive of the player items. The veteran QB’s cards are currently selling for anywhere from 150,000 to over 200,000 Madden Coins.
Along with the Madden 21 Wildcard Wednesday releases, expect to see more items heading into MUT this weekend. Those will be the Ultimate Legends cards which bring some of the all-time best players to the game. Previous releases have included Brett Favre, Derrick Thomas, Mean Joe Greene, and Randall Cunningham.
