Madden 22 Franchise Mode video previews Season Engine, updated Hub, and more

With a five-minute video on Tuesday, June 22, Connor Dougan, Madden NFL 22 Senior Design Director, talked to fans about some of the upcoming additions to Franchise mode. The video also includes screens from the mode, including a look at some of the Coach/Staff/Player scenario screens, and the updated Franchise Hub.

Based on details in the video below, there will be a new Season Engine for Franchise which brings over 35 different scenarios at the game’s launch. There will be more added after the game’s release to keep things fresh. The video below shows some of these such as Seahawks coach Pete Carroll talking with QB Russell Wilson and Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid at a press conference.

The new Franchise Hub is shown and spotlighted around 4:15 into the Deep Dive video. It now includes a new Activities list on the left side of the screen which outlines what’s needed to be done each week. On the right side is a list of goals for the week, helping Franchise gamers keep an eye on what to do to get rewards.

There’s an updated News screen that provides the top stories or reactions from around the league. In addition, there’s faster access to roster management screens, among other nice changes to the Franchise Hub.

Check out the video below, which also shows Staff Management, Staff Points, and the Weekly/Halftime Strategy features. The latter of these will integrate the new Dynamic Gameday feature.

Scouting update will arrive later for mode

The team behind Madden 22 Franchise mode will also be bringing a Scouting feature sometime in September. This will allow for placing scouts nationally and in different regions to maximize their abilities to find the best talent for your franchise.

A screen for the Scout Assignments appeared in the video, showing off National, West, Central, North East, and South East regions. Based on which scouts are assigned, they might focus on finding talent to fill specific positions for the team.
