COVID-19 has led to a lot of uncertainties in the world of game development. It also has increased the tendency of Sony to keep a tight lid on what is taking place behind the scenes with respect to PS5 and upcoming games. But now, it appears that a major reveal of PS5 games is on the way.
When to Expect the Major Reveal of PS5 Games
Recently, Venture Beat journalist Jeff Grubb was posting scheduling information for “Jeff Grubb’s Summer Game Mess.” In the schedule, he mentioned an event called “Slate of PlayStation.” What will this event consist of? According to Grubb himself, it will involve revealing “an entire slate of games” for PS5.
While this is still non-specific, it is exciting, and it is a promise from a source that will deliver. How many games are in a “slate” of games? Who knows? But it sounds like more than a few.
What’s more, the event will take place on June 4th. That is right around the corner. So we are just weeks away from finding out about a whole bunch of PlayStation 5 games on the way. It’s about time, right?
In the meantime, many rumors abound concerning what to expect from the PS5. There is even a rumor that it will be possible to instantly demo all PS5 games for free. There also could be a chatbot similar to Cortana for PS5. Meanwhile, we know that the PS5 DualSense controller will feature a built-in mic. And that is something which gamers are concerned about.
