Capcom released a brand new Mega Man 11 trailer today that introduces fans to two more explosive Robot Masters that will be featured in the upcoming action platformer. The two new bosses that the beloved Blue Bomber will have to take on are Blast Man and Torch Man. The trailer gives us a glimpse of their abilities, attacks, and what their respective boss fights are like.
Blast Man, in particular, has been shown off briefly in previous trailers for Mega Man 11 but this is the first time he’s gotten this much attention. We get to see a good amount of the crazy bomb-centric abilities that Blast Man has. His particular boss fight shows a ton of bombs thrown all at once that Mega Man will have to dodge and jump over. Additionally, he seems to have a power-up mode that sees him unleash insanely huge bombs.
The second Robot Master introduced in the most recent Mega Man 11 trailer is Torch Man. His boss fight seems even more crazy and fast-paced than Blast Man with crazy fire rings and attacks happening all over the place. His power-up shows him engulf himself in a ton of flames and unleash even more wildfire. You can see all of this for yourself in the trailer above.
However, we do recommend avoiding the Mega Man 11 if you want to dodge any spoilers before the game comes out. Not only does it spoil the boss fights but their specific special weapons. From Blast Man, you can get the Chain Blast which allows the Blue Bomber to unleash a new type of bombs.
The Torch Man special weapon is the Blazing Torch, which allows Mega Man to launch off arcing flame attacks at unsuspecting enemies. Mega Man 11 releases later this year on October 2. While we wait, read up about the upcoming Mega Man cartoon.
