MLB The Show 19 New Bosses Include Cal Ripken Jr, Andrew McCutchen, Billy Wagner

The latest MLB The Show 19 Bosses were revealed on Thursday (June 13) evening. With a pair of 99 OVR along with a 98, these three Signature Series Cards are going to be a must have for any gamer’s collection. When you are talking about the likes of Cal Ripken Jr, Andrew McCutchen, and Billy Wagner how can you go wrong?

Cal Ripken Jr. leads new Bosses

Just seeing a pair of 99 OVR players is like rolling a seven in your first attempt at the dice table. And what better Boss to start with than Cal Ripken Jr.

Cal Ripken Jr. is a solid 99 OVR. A Diamond rating for both his hitting and defensive skills, Ripken Jr. was one of the best to ever play the game. His streak of playing in 2,632 consecutive games will most likely never be broken. The Hall of Famer was a 19-time All-Star and finished his career with 3,184 hits 431 home runs. Just legendary.

Andrew McCutchen, Billy Wagner join Bosses

Billy Wagner was one of the best relief pitchers to ever play the game. Wagner finished his career in 2010, but not before collecting 422 saves and having a WHIP of exactly 1.00.

Just think what kind of contract he would get if he was in his prime now? In the K/9 and Clutch Performance categories, Wagner scores a perfect 125 out of 125 on The Show.

The third and final Boss added last night was Andrew McCutchen. Cutch has been a solid centerfielder his entire career. The five-time All-Star and Silver Slugger Award winner was off to a great start this season until unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending injury.
