The MLB The Show 19 2nd Inning Bosses have arrived. In case you missed it, we have already covered the latest Headliner release along with the most current updated Moments. Now it is time to swing into action with the new bosses on the diamond.
Who are the 2nd inning Bosses?
With new Bosses, gamers will have a total of seven Diamond and five Gold players to choose from, along with one Signature Series Flashback! The three new bosses are just that – bosses on the field!
San Francisco’s Madison Bumgarner, Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera and former Angels star Vladimir Guerrero are the new bosses. When it comes to baseball greats, these three are hard to beat.
While Cabrera and Bumgarner are still adding to their great careers, Guerrero has already cemented his legacy. All three of these Diamond studs are as solid as they come, that we know. Now here is how gamers can go one-on-one as one of these greats or against them!
Be a Boss or go against him
With the new Bosses, you can not only choose which one you want to be, you can go against them as well. Each scenario challenge is different, so here is a break down for each new Boss.
First up, Miguel Cabrera.
Play against Cabrera: “Bases Loaded Jam”
In this mode you are the pitcher – if you dare to be! The bases are loaded with no outs. You have to escape the inning without allowing a run with Diamond Dynasty team’s set-up pitcher. One catch. Hardware Flashback Miguel Cabrera is up to bat. That’s 2012 Miggy with a 92 Diamond Rating!
Play as Cabrera: “Call a Cab-rera”
Flashback 2012 Miguel Cabrera is up with the bases loaded and two outs. Your team is down by three runs in the bottom of the 9th. Your challenge? You need to hit the game winning walk-off grand slam. No problem, right? That is tough, but if anyone can do it, it is Miggy.
Next up, Vladdy!
Play against Guerrero: “Change History: Strike out Vlad”
Hardware Legend Vladimir Guerrero hit his first home run with the Angels on April 7, 2004. You need to change history and stop that from happening. Pitch with your Diamond Dynasty team’s ace and send Guerrero back to the dugout.
Play as Guerrero: “Vlad vs. Rangers”
Play a 4-game series as Hardware Legend Vladimir Guerrero and tally 12 total bases against the Texas Rangers.
Last but not least it’s Madison time!
If you chose to play against Bumgarner you must play a 6-inning game with your Diamond Dynasty Team against Signature Series Madison Bumgarner and the San Francisco Giants. You can win the game by recording six total bases.
If you want to be Madison, you need to dig deep. As a hitter, you need to record at least two hits. On the mound you must pitch a complete game, strikeout at least 10 Oakland batters and don’t allow over two runs in this 9-inning player locked game.
