MLB The Show 19 Moments Update Includes CC Sabathia, Michael Chavis

The latest MLB The Show 19 Moments update has been released. This week, several great moments from the current 2019 season have been added to MLB The Show, including a milestone from New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia.

CC Sabathia reaches historic mark

CC Sabathia has been a beast his entire career. On April 30, Sabathia reached a milestone that few pitchers can claim.  Sabathia started the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks with 2,997 career strikeouts – just three shy of the magical 3,000 mark.

CC Sabathia punched out two hitters before facing John Ryan Murphy with two outs in the third inning. After fanning Murphy to close the frame, Sabathia was all smiles and so were his teammates as the celebration of No. 3,000 was honored.

Now gamers can recreate this historical moment by having their player locked as Sabathia. When you tally three strikeouts to reach his career milestone you have completed your Moment!

Winkler, Chavis get their Moment

While CC Sabathia’s strikeout was one for the ages,  Cincinnati’s Jesse Winker and Boston rookie sensation Michael Chavis have also been added to the MLB the Show 19 Moments mode.

On April 29, Jesse Winker hit a go-ahead home run off Edwin Diaz in the top of the 9th inning to give the Reds a 5-4 lead over the Mets. With the player locked as Jesse Winker, recreate his clutch home run.

From May 2-5, Michael Chavis had a four-day run where he was red hot! In the battle between the White and Red Sox, Boston rookie Michael Chavis helped carry the offense with three home runs, a double and five RBIs. That’s impressive to say the least! Now, locked in as Chavis in a 4-game series, you need to tally four extra-base hits and five RBI to make the Moment happen.
