Players react to MLB The Show trailer

From simple emojis to downright love, MLB players wasted no time congratulating the creators of MLB The Show on the latest trailer for the popular PlayStation game.

One-time Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is now a member of the Cincinnati Reds. Puig seems pretty hyped about wearing a new uniform this season and wants fans to take a look.

Longtime Pittsburgh Pirates star and current Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen liked his old look so much in the MLB The Show 19 trailer he said he may consider buying a wig!

Former Cincinnati Reds flame thrower and “Nasty Boy” Rob Dibble is looking for someone to face. Who knows. Maybe if you send Dibbs a tweet, he will take you on, one-on-one!

FOX Sports South was happy to announce that the Braves have been labeled as a contender in 2019. Many of their fans believe they should have been listed as a favorite, especially over the Washington Nations, but that is the beauty of sports. Every opinion can be heard.

Trailer reveals a few Legends?

One thing about MLB The Show that die-hard baseball fans love is the yearly addition of past players. The Legends are always popular and if you look close enough at the latest trailer you may spot a few.

Of course, Rob Dibble was a dead giveaway. However, a very quick glimpse looked to reveal longtime New York Giants pitcher Christy Mathewson. And you can’t mention the legends without the great Willie Mays. Mays got the most airtime on the trailer as The Show finished the clip by recapping Mays’ great catch in the 1954 World Series.
