MLB The Show 20 Ducks on the Pond Players Revealed So Far for Packs

On Friday, MLB The Show 20 fans with some Stubs to spare will be able to purchase new packs. These will be called MLB The Show 20 Ducks on the Pond packs adding to the other options in the pack store including Headliners. Over the past several days, several of the big-name players available in the new MLB The Show 20 packs were revealed along with other key details.

While we recently saw the big 4th Inning program arrive in the game, we’ve got more content coming this week. That includes the Ducks on the Pond packs that officially go live in the game on Friday, June 5. MLB The Show 20 teased one Nats player as part of these on Twitter and that player has been revealed via a YouTuber (below).

They’ll cost of 35,000 MLB The Show Stubs each, which is a lot, but some gamers have that kinda in-game currency to burn. You can see our Stubs guide for how to get more of it for your account. It’s also worth noting there is a limit of just two packs per customer.

The MLB The Show 20 Ducks on the Pond packs include random Base cards and Rare cards inside. There are two rounds for each pack to choose players from. There are base card rounds and rare card rounds. Base card rounds are guaranteed. The rare card rounds have a 1 in 4 chance of happening.

Which players are in the new packs?

There will be eight total Diamond players available in the new packs. So far, three players are known as of this report. Several YouTube content creators got to reveal who will appear in the new packs this Friday. One of those came from YouTuber TheFinnFTW in his new video. It’s a sweet looking 97 Diamond for the former Pittsburgh Pirates centerfielder Andrew McCutchen.

McCutchen’s new card includes plenty of power with Diamond hitting, 112 Contact Right, 94 Contact Left, 99 Power Left, 83 Power Right, 98 Durability, 110 Plate Discipline, and 101 Control.

In a YouTube video by TheAntOrtiz on Monday (June 1), he revealed a 94 overall Diamond Daniel Murphy. The second baseman is currently with the Colorado Rockies. However, Murphy played for the Washington Nationals during his career, and that’s what this Silver Slugger Diamond card reflects.

Murphy gets Diamond hitting with 125 Contact Right, 114 Contact Left, 125 Control, 105 Vision, 85 Power Right, and 74 Power Left. He’s also got 71 Fielding, 64 Arm Strength, and 80 Accuracy, and 74 Reaction.

Salvador Perez will give Diamond Dynasty fans another top-tier catcher to consider for their lineup. His new Diamond card is a 94 overall that MovieGamingTV revealed on their YouTube channel. Perez gets not only Diamond hitting but also Diamond fielding for a stellar new card.

There will likely be other player reveals in the coming hours and days leading up to Friday’s MLB The Show 20 Ducks on the Pond packs. In total, eight new Diamond players will be up for grabs as random cards available in the new packs. Will you be a buyer?
