A new MLB The Show 20 Flawless Rewards player is on the way and it appears the gaming community has confirmed who it will be. The Show teased the upcoming rewards player through three different clues, with the third clue seeming to show off the player. Here are more details about who the expected player will be when he arrives in the next day.
MLB The Show 20 Flawless Rewards clues present new player
Three clues went out over the past day from MLB The Show’s Twitter, each bringing a different screenshot of the new Flawless Rewards player. The first two clues didn’t give much beyond body parts, although some gamers may have correctly guessed ahead of a revealing third clue.
That third clue gives an actual look at the player’s face and seems to confirm Casey Mize as a new MLB The Show 20 Flawless Rewards player:
The Detroit Tigers’ 6-foot-3 pitcher is amongst Prospect cards in the game right now. Mize brings a 90 overall on that Diamond level card. He’s also got a five-pitch repertoire including 95 mph 4 Seam Fastball and 94 mph Sinker. Currently, the Marketplace has prices that range from 10,600 to 12,000 MLB The Show Stubs for the card.
Ahead of that new card arriving on Tuesday, prices are likely to drop for that 90 OVR Prospects item. So, if anyone is waiting to pick up that lower-rated Casey Mize, it will be the time to do so.
What are the Flawless Rewards for?
MLB The Show 20 Flawless Rewards players are available for competing in the Battle Royale mode of the game. In this mode, gamers draft a 25-man squad. Then they compete against players online trying to get as many wins as possible without losing twice. Flawless Rewards become available for anyone who goes 12-0 in the mode, so you’ll need to bring your A-game.
Once Casey Mize is officially revealed, he’ll join the Flawless Players Pool. Currently, that has a group of 11 players including Manny Machado, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, Edgar Martinez, and Dave Parker. Mize would become the second Prospect player available in the pool, joining the Los Angeles Angels Jo Adell who has a 90 OVR card.
Stay tuned as The Show will get that new Casey Mize card and several other players in the game on Tuesday, June 23.
