Two More Battlefield 1 DLC Expansions Are Free From Today

“The Road to Battlefield 5,” continues, despite the delay of the game’s release date. In the space left by the change, DICE is offering fans another chance to get their hands on Battlefield 1 DLC for free. Last week, the studio made the game’s first two DLC expansions free to download. From today until the 23rd of October, the latter two will now be free instead.

Turning Tides and Apocalypse Battlefield 1 DLC Free to Download

Last week, DICE staged the latest stage of the “Road to Battlefield 5,” promotional campaign; the first stage to take place in October. Although previous phases of the “Road” have offered fans Battlefield 1 DLC for free for limited times, players who missed the DLC then have another chance now. The month’s first giveaway made the game’s first two expansions free; They Shall Not Pass and In the Name of the Tsar. From today until the 23rd, the Turning Tides and Apocalypse expansions will be free to download instead.

Battlefield 1 DLC Free as Part of The Road to Battlefield 5

On the 24th of October, the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass itself, including all DLC, will become free to download until the 31st. That will likely be the final opportunity for Battlefield fans to get their hands on free Battlefield 1 DLC before the launch of Battlefield 5, although DICE has certainly given players plenty of chances. While the Premium Pass is available for free, Battlefield 5 itself will also be on sale for just $4.99; an ideal opportunity for gamers to get the title and all of its DLC if they’ve never played Battlefield 1.

Battlefield 5 will be launching just a few weeks after the end of that sale, so fans should play their fill of Battlefield 1 now! DICE released the first Battlefield 5 War Stories trailer yesterday, and more single-player gameplay is scheduled to release later this week. The fourth episode of DICE’s Dev Talks series will launch online on Friday.
