More sources are going over their tested Battlefield V Benchmarks from the PC closed Alpha. This time, two more benchmark tests with more powerful graphics cards show that Nvidia has the upper hand, with the GTX 1080 Ti.
The first tests we’ve seen has provided us with the scores obtained by using two midrange solutions, the GeForce GTX 1060 and Radeon RX 580. AMD is winning that “fight” with higher framerates for both 1080p and 1440p despite the prices close enough to the two graphics cards.
The next GPUs to be tested are the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti vs the Radeon RV Vega. Testing has been made for all graphics settings: Low, Medium, High and Ultra. While the differences are small, Nvidia’s flagship graphics card is rocking that testing, provided by Hardwareluxx.
Another testings by Sweclockers, including more GPU options show a bigger difference between their scores. While the testing results may vary the result is the same. Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti is the strongest graphics card for Battlefield V.
What the testers found out is that the CPU power seems to play an important role in the final ranking. The test configurations used by Hardwareluxx include faster processor speeds than the one used by Sweclockers.
This led to a testing of different Intel and AMD CPUs so that you know if your system is up to par with the game’s requirements. Here are the results by Sweclockers.
The Battlefield V benchmarks have something interesting to say about the performance of both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. If you own a medium price range system then AMD is operating better, according to a testing with GeForce GTX 1060 and Radeon RX 580. However, if you own a high-end system, equipped with the best of the best, then the GTX 1080 Ti is the winner of all, providing extremely big framerate numbers for a game of its caliber.
